Change a clip’s speed.

Result: A slower or faster clip, exported exactly as previewed.

  1. Select the clip and press S.
  2. Type 0.5, 2x or 50 % and press Enter (presets and a slider with a 1× detent are below).
  3. A slower clip gets longer on the timeline.

tips

  • The SPEED buttons of the transport change the whole playback and export instead (0.1× … 8×).
