Trim, split and slip clips.

Result: Clips cut exactly where you want, without changing their speed.

Select a clip in the clips lane.
Drag its left or right edge to trim it; the next clips follow (ripple).
Put the playhead on a frame and press ⌘B to split there; [ and ] trim to the playhead.
In the inspector’s CLIP section, type a duration in seconds or frames (75f), or change “source in” to slip the visible part without moving the clip.
