Optical Flow.
Bend the image along its own motion, like liquid pushed by movement.
Drag to compare. Left: the original clip. Right: the same clip through flow.warp, rendered by the app.
What does it do?
Optical Flow Warp measures how each part of the picture moves from one frame to the next, then pushes the pixels along that motion. Fast movement drips and tears; still areas stay in place. This demo raises strength and warp, with persistence so the distortion lingers.
Creative ideas
- Make a fast gesture melt the frame around it.
- Give a handheld shot a liquid, dreamlike drift.
- Combine with Datamosh for heavier digital decay.
How to use it
- Open the Effects tab.
- In the left rail, under VIDEO FX, click flow.warp.
- Raise strength and warp; add persistence for longer trails.
Level: medium. Undo anything with ⌘Z.
Example preset
- flow.warp — strength 3, warp 3, persistence 0.85

Render notes
Follows real motion: the more the shot moves, the stronger the effect. Rendered on demo footage: a car drifting in desert dust.
Rendered by @@ennuienoir (headless export) from a single shot of our demo footage, encoded for the web: H.264, no sound.
