Card Stack.

Deal copies of the frame into a shuffling stack of cards.

Drag to compare. Left: the original clip. Right: the same clip through card.stack, rendered by the app.

What does it do?

Card Stack turns the picture into several tilted copies of itself, stacked like playing cards that keep moving. Count, scale, rotation, spread, speed and tilt are adjustable, and the background can be dimmed. This demo uses the default settings.

Creative ideas

  • A collage feel for a static shot.
  • Shuffle the cards on a beat with an audio-reactive setting.
  • Dim the background so the cards float.

How to use it

  1. Open the Effects tab.
  2. In the left rail, under VIDEO FX, click card.stack.
  3. Set the number of cards, then spread and rotation.

Level: easy. Undo anything with ⌘Z.

Example preset
