Temporal Collage.

Paste fragments of the clip taken from different moments.

Drag to compare. Left: the original clip. Right: the same clip through temporal.collage, rendered by the app.

What does it do?

Temporal Collage scatters fragments of the frame, each one showing another moment of the clip: number of fragments, time spread, size, randomness, movement and rotation, with a seed for repeatable layouts. This demo uses the default settings.

Creative ideas

  • A scrapbook of a whole scene in one frame.
  • Wide time spread for jumpy, memory-like images.
  • Change the seed for another layout.

How to use it

  1. Open the Effects tab.
  2. In the left rail, under VIDEO FX, click temporal.collage.
  3. Set fragments and time spread; change the seed.

Level: easy. Undo anything with ⌘Z.
