An infinite tunnel of the image inside itself.

Drag to compare. Left: the original clip. Right: the same clip through recursive.portal, rendered by the app.

What does it do?

Recursive Portal repeats the frame inside itself: iterations, scale, rotation, offset, perspective and spin. This demo uses the default settings.

Creative ideas

  • A spiral tunnel with rotation and spin.
  • Off-centre portals with offset.
  • Animate scale for a zoom into the frame.

How to use it

  1. Open the Effects tab.
  2. In the left rail, under VIDEO FX, click recursive.portal.
  3. Set iterations and scale; add rotation or spin.

Level: easy. Undo anything with ⌘Z.
